This Greene County, PA farm boy (that's right, grain-fed on 104 acres of paradise) comes to us a seasoned veteran of the east coast music circuit and that’s not bad for a guy from just south of nowhere. From Houston, to Atlanta, to NYC and everywhere in between, Chris has been wowing audiences and critics with his fluid ambidexterity, unique setup, and aggressive playing style. Beginning his formal training in the realm of percussion and theory at the age of 10, he has expanded his skills rapidly and proficiently in a number of musical aspects including bass guitar, guitar, musical instructions, and audio production and engineering.
Chris has had the honor of performing at some of the most acclaimed music conferences in the US including the Atlantis (Atlanta), Millennium (Harrisburg), and Motor City (Detroit) Music Conferences held annually. One of his previous projects, Mojo Filter, took 1st place honors and awards including “Overall Musical Talent” and “Best Drummer” in the 2004 East Coast Showcase held annually in Rock Hill, SC. This competition pitted Mojo against 218 bands from all over the US and Canada.
In and amongst his numerous endeavors, Chris also finds time to hold down an full-time job as a Systems Administrator (hey, you still gotta eat), perform with 2 musical projects, engineer local and regional bands at his studio (The Leaning Studio Of Greene), write a few music columns here and there and spend time with his beautiful wife Amanda.
Chris believes that “Knowledge Is Power and drum machines have no soul."
